The Contractor

A contractor was working on a house and a little boy was watching him when he dropped his hammer. He asked the boy to hand it back to him and the boy said, “My dad has two hammers and when he drops one he uses the other.”

Well, he never said anything to the boy and went back to work. A few minutes later he dropped his screwdriver and asked the boy to hand it back to him and the boy said, “My dad has two of these too and when he drops one he uses the other.” Well, he never said anything this time either and went about his work.

A little later nature calls and the man goes behind a tree to relieve himself and notices the boy watching. The man says, “I guess your dad has two of these too.”

The boy says, “No, but he has one that will make two of that one.”
