The Golden Screw

Loading ...The parents of a newborn son were devastated to learn that their baby was born with a golden screw in his navel. Surgeons had never seen this before, and fearing it would harm the boy, refused to operate.
The parents were very religious and accepted the birth defect as God’s will.
The mother never gave up faith, and as her son grew up she prayed daily for God to cure him. The boy was very shy, always hiding his golden-screw navel from his friends. When the boy turned 12 years old, the mother decided to take him to the beach.
It was hot, and the boy refused to go into the water. He was happy to just lie on the sand, with his navel completely covered from view. The mother prayed and prayed, even at the beach.
Suddenly, the beautiful blue sky turned dark with ominous clouds rolling in, thunder and lightning seemed to come from nowhere.
The dark clouds opened up, revealing a huge golden screwdriver. The golden screwdriver lowered itself closer and closer to the young man lying on the beach, who was understandbly petrified with fear. The wind blew the towel from the boys navel, exposing the golden screw.
The golden screwdriver made contact with the boys navel and by the grace of God, removed the golden screw. Both the screw and the screwdriver then disappeared into the clouds, with the sun and blue sky returning immediately afterwards.
The mother was in tears after witnessing this miracle, and the young man was so happy that he stood up to give thanks…..only to see his ass fall off.
